Dr. Khalid M. Waleed Khateeb
Founder & Managing Director

An experienced physician and diabetes specialist with extensive clinical and academic expertise in diabetes care, emergency medicine, and chronic disease management. With more than a decade of medical practice across Egypt and Kuwait, Dr. Khateeb has developed a strong reputation for delivering patient-centered care while integrating modern clinical protocols and evidence-based medicine into everyday practice.
Dr. Khateeb earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., B.Ch.) from Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt, where he graduated with a strong academic performance. Driven by a passion for chronic disease management and diabetes care, he pursued advanced postgraduate education in this field, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Diabetes Education and Management from the University of Dundee in Scotland, one of the globally recognized institutions for diabetes research and clinical education.
To further enhance his expertise in diabetes care, Dr. Khateeb completed the prestigious Diabetes Care Program for Primary Care Providers offered by Joslin Diabetes Center at Harvard Medical School, delivered through the Dasman Diabetes Institute in Kuwait. This program provided advanced training in modern diabetes management, patient education strategies, and multidisciplinary care models.
Throughout his career, Dr. Khateeb has worked within major healthcare institutions, gaining diverse clinical experience across multiple medical disciplines. His early medical training was completed at Ain Shams University Hospitals in Cairo, where he rotated through several core specialties including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, anesthesia, cardiology, radiology, and emergency medicine.
He later moved to Kuwait, where he served as an Assistant Registrar in the Emergency Department at Al-Jahra Hospital, one of the largest government hospitals in the country. During this period, he was actively involved in managing acute medical and trauma cases, emergency stabilization, and implementing clinical protocols in high-pressure emergency settings.
Dr. Khateeb subsequently specialized in diabetes care and currently serves as a Diabetes Specialist at Al Rawda Health Center under the Ministry of Health in Kuwait, where he plays an integral role in providing comprehensive diabetes management, patient education, and long-term care strategies for patients with metabolic diseases.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Khateeb is actively involved in medical education, research, and professional development. He has completed numerous advanced training programs in diabetes management through the University of Dundee, including modules in:
